random thoughts

• went to get sized for my bridesmaid dress for my friend Paul’s wedding yesterday and realized my boobs are enormous yet once again.  i hate the fact that i have to order a larger size dress just to accomodate them.  however, i had them order a size smaller just so i have to lose weight! heh
• i have come to realize that i am addicted to eating ice.  i’ve found myself buying a bag of ice at least 4 times a week.  it has now become a meal replacement once a day.
• i’ve fixed my horrible sleeping pattern.  i used to be up until around 6am everyday and sleep until noon.  now i’m going to sleep between 9 and 10 pm and getting up at 5am.  i really like the change a alot.
• i can’t stop joining facebook groups.  some of them totally crack me up, and some of them i want to join but can’t due to not wanting people to think i’m a freak hahah
• why do bad things happen to good people?
• i’m so glad my t.v. shows are back on again…..i love ugly betty, grey’s anatomy, desperate housewives, and brothers & sisters….can’t wait for lost…those bastards are making us wait until 2008
• school is going really well, i have straight a’s right now and it’s almost mid-terms.  i thought my math class was going to be horrid but i’m finally understanding it
• i think i’m too nice.
• i miss going to conferences, but i don’t miss the no sleep/binge drinking scene.  it really messed with my head.  i also don’t miss the drama and fakeness of some people.  i met so many amazing people and the one’s that really matter to me i still talk to.  i think i’ll go to a conference this winter just to see my friends again but i don’t think i’ll have anything to do with the actual conference.  well, like i ever did anyway. lol.
• i’ve been updating my mfa blogs lately hoping to make some extra cash to pay for next semester.
• i’m so thankful everyone in my family is healthy and i still have them in my life.
• it’s definently time to create another goals list.
• yesterday marked the 35lb weight loss challenge.  my current measurements are:  bust 42 1/2, waist 34, hips 45.  now that’s a real woman! heheh  not sure what the best timeline is to check my progress so i don’t get discouraged!
• i love my pink razor phone.  my current ringtone is the theme to austin powers :)  yeah baby!
• i bartended this past weekend at a wedding for 400 people and hardly made any tips.  i usually make a couple hundred, but the bride and groom had a hosted bar so people never tip when stuff is free! a-holes!

don’t cross the shitline…evil black mold

a quote i borrowed from “trailerpark boys” supervisor, Jim Lahey, has been used quite frequently.  whenever i’ve had a bad day or irritated about something, i always think to myself…”don’t even think about crossing my shitline” if someone pulls out in front of me etc. 

my cold has definently crossed the shitline…it’s been 2 weeks now and my head feels like it’s going to explode, i can’t hear anything because my ears are full, my throat hurts, and my chest feels bruised from coughing to much.  i’ve been around a ton of people and nobody else has gotten sick…now i’m getting a little convinced its the black mold in the basement that is making me sick!

yesterday was brice’s funeral service, and jeremy came into town for the brief 2 hour process then was whisked away back to shoemoney land.  he didn’t even stop to see my parents which really bothered me.  my mom is going there to watch juliet for a few days while jeremy & j are gone…but the nanny and “mother-in-law/assistant” will be there too.  i doubt my mom will really be able to get any quality time with her granddaughter :(  ..another crossing of the shitline.

tonight is another ufc…and since i had been kind of out of the ufc circle for about 2 months, i’ve sort of lost track of who is fighting lately.  i have to bartend at a wedding tonight so i’m going to miss it but hopefully i can catch up online and watch some of the better fights. 

it seems that i am in a highly irritated mood today…yesterday was emotional and i’ve pretty much laid in bed all day…it’s now 2:38pm and i’m still in bed in my pajamas using my laptop watching trailerpark boys.  however, it is a saturday, so it’s ok to be lazy right?

wtf britney?!

i was SOOO excited to see what britney was going to do at the vma’s tonight! as the extreme disappointment continued all i could think to myself was…”oh this is just an opener, she’ll bust out any minute now and blow it up!”  i sat there in a daze and i couldn’t believe what i was seeing happen.  a dull faced wtf am i doing here britney spears performing barely moving her body on stage.  however….i think she looked great, with a little weight on her body she still looked extremely sexy (except for her bad extensions).  i’m still holding on…it’s gonna take a hell of a lot now for her to make her “comeback” for most people, but i love her new music and it’s fun to dance to so whatever!

 also…what was with the “awards” show only giving away like 4 awards?!  i got really tired of watching the foo fighters and the other “suite concert” things….how pissed would you have been to be sitting in the theater while they were doing all of that?  what a sucky vma awards show!  too bad we didn’t get to see the kid rock/tommy lee fight!!!  jt rocked it like usual.

world of warcraft and girls

I’m sitting at college, in the cafe, on my laptop utilizing the wireless internet. I’m at a table with 5 other “computer engineering” types (if you know what I mean) and the whole time they’ve been watching silly cartoons and doing their own southpark parodies, they even threw in a Star Wars kid video here and there. So I found them quite amusing, giggling as something started playing that I was familiar with.
I guess I don’t know how to say this without being egotistical…so don’t take this the wrong way. I’m probably not the type of girl these guys would think would be discussing Warcraft with them. I’ll just say that much.
So I look over, and the guy next to me is playing World of Warcraft. I say, “hey, what server do you play on?” He ignores me, but the other 4 guys look over at me with this blank stare. They nudged him under the table and said…”hey dude, she asked you what server you play on!” He looks over at me and says…”um…WHY?” At this point I couldn’t tell if he was being a smartass to show off in front of his friends, or he was just plain rude. So I gave him the ol’ “allllllrighty then” look, and went about my business. Just then, I saw 2 of the guys high-five eachother under the table….WTF !? I think I found the fight club of WOW.
