Valentines Day Gift - 2008 Annual Mix Tape Suggestion “Sensual Seduction”

I Love You Bissell SpotBot Hands-Free Portable Deep Cleaner

This week my dog seemed to think it was okay to start randomly puking all over the house. He’s somewhat of a “plump” puppy and when I feed him he hogs it down like he hasn’t eaten in 25 days. Later in the day I seem to find little presents of dog puke from his smorgasbord earlier on.

I was at “the Walmart” last night and saw the Bissell 1200B SpotBot Hands-Free Compact Deep Cleaner Carpet Cleaner so I picked one up. I figured since I’ve been paying $40 each time to have someone clean the carpets when he does this I will have this thing pay for itself in only a few months. I also got a huge bottle of the Bissell 0799 Pet Odor & Stain Removal Formula - 32oz you add with it (generic brand pet solution from Walmart).

This thing is awesome. It’s SO easy to use that all you have to do is set it on top of the stain itself and hit one button. Done. It does it’s thing for about 6 minutes and beeps when it’s done. I didn’t want to wait for the area to dry so I used the attached vacuum hose to suck up the rest of the water. FAB-U-LOUS! This is a must have product if you have kids and/or pets, or spill a lot on your carpets!

christmas gift ideas for your girl

christmas to me is a not the time to go overboard and drop thousands of dollars on someone. i use christmas gifts as a time to find appropriate gifts like a birthday present might be. i’m not into thousand dollar purses or designer things at all. i’m a simple person who enjoys cute, creative, and unique things. lately some of my guy friends have been asking me for suggestions for gifts they can get their girlfriends. i put together some things that i would like to get so they might have some ideas. these things can also be carried over to valentines day, anniversaries, or birthdays:

i am a big fan of simple jewelry. preferably items that don’t cost a fortune in case i lose it when i travel or misplace it. i came across this necklace a few days ago that have a matching ring. i like how simple yet elegant it looks and it could go with anything i like to wear. plus i love silver.

my next item is something that i absolutely love. sarah jessica parker’s perfume called “lovely” is just that. it has become my everyday perfume for the last year and i get at least 2-3 compliments/day about it and if i’m out anywhere people are always asking me what perfume i have on. i first found it in the san francisco airport duty free while i was wasting time between flights. it has a very light feminine scent that i have found goes well on anyone.

some girls might get offended if you buy appliances, tools (etc.) for them. me? no way! since i love to cook i’m always looking for fun things to add to the kitchen. i would only recommend buying such items if your girl likes to cook or bake, some girls will get offended by receiving this because they just think you bought it so they will cook for you!

i love giving massages so this next item would be a win/win. the art of sensual massage dvd ($23.00) would be a fun thing to watch together and try out on each other. now with this, i would make a gift basket out of it. add some warming massage oil ($10.95), something relaxing to listen to, and some pheromone candles ($6.99). there you have romance and it looks like you really put some thought into it. it also shows her that you want to spend some intimate time with her other than the usual

here is something i bought for myself on black friday recently. it’s a portable docking station for my ipod which i take with me in every room in the house. i especially like it when i’m in the bathroom taking a shower or getting ready to go somewhere. so i guess another gift idea would be an ipod to go with this if she doesn’t already have one. a step ahead of that would be to pre-load music/video on it for her so when she opens it she can enjoy it right away.

holy crap how awesome is this!??  a pink sony cybershot digital camera!  i’m a picture-a-holic and i currently have 3 digital cameras but not a pink one!  only $170 on amazon right now so that is a great deal and a really cool gift!  plus i’ve never seen one out there so it’s kind of v.i.p!

Valentines Day is just around the corner, and everyone always wonders what to do for the one you love. I am a big music fan, and if your significant other is also, this year do something unique and go back to junior high school and make them their very own “mix tape” cd of your favorite love songs, or songs that remind you of your past together. hosting a tropical bridal shower

Today I hosted a tropical bridal shower for Sara, who’s getting married in March on the beach in Florida.
Since I’m the maid of honor, I had the pleasure of giving Sara this shower today! Since the is getting married on the beach, I had a tropical “kitchen-gifts” themed shower, complete with palm trees and drink parasols.We had about 25 guests, and Sara received many great gifts, including a Kitchen-Aid mixer and many selections from her registry at Bed, Bath & Beyond. Since she had so many presents to open, I cut out one of the games. 

I had her fiancee, Brent, make up one game for us, so he made 20 questions about himself to see how many Sara could answer, and she only got 13 right hehehe I served only finger food, meatballs with palm tree picks, cheese cubes, crackers with garlic dip, relish tray, cupcakes for her cake (see picture, I’m the bomb! ), and nuts & mints.
