hosting a tropical bridal shower

Today I hosted a tropical bridal shower for Sara, who’s getting married in March on the beach in Florida.
Since I’m the maid of honor, I had the pleasure of giving Sara this shower today! Since the is getting married on the beach, I had a tropical “kitchen-gifts” themed shower, complete with palm trees and drink parasols.We had about 25 guests, and Sara received many great gifts, including a Kitchen-Aid mixer and many selections from her registry at Bed, Bath & Beyond. Since she had so many presents to open, I cut out one of the games. 

I had her fiancee, Brent, make up one game for us, so he made 20 questions about himself to see how many Sara could answer, and she only got 13 right hehehe I served only finger food, meatballs with palm tree picks, cheese cubes, crackers with garlic dip, relish tray, cupcakes for her cake (see picture, I’m the bomb! ), and nuts & mints.
